We all strive to better our lives. We work hard to create a country in which we all can be free to achieve our full potential. We do our best to make sure that fairness is shown to all of us so that we can make full use of the opportunities this great country offers us. This is how South Africans who care for their values, their culture, their country, look at life.
Christmas is the time when we reflect anew on the these values and ideas. It is a time in which we are reminded of what is really important in our lives, and how we should live in order to achieve our goals.
The religious leader and author, Thomas S Monson said, “Christmas is the spirit of giving without a thought of getting. It is happiness because we see joy in people. It is forgetting self and finding time for others. It is discarding the meaningless and stressing the true values.”
Die waarde van familie en goeie vriende moet nie onderskat word nie. In ons daaglikse roetine dink ons nie eers aan hierdie uiters belangrike ondersteuningsbasis, wat almal een of ander tyd nodig kry nie.
Spandeer asseblief die vakansie- en feesseisoen om weer om te gee vir mekaar en moontlike vermorste tyd as gevolg van druk en omstandighede in te haal.
We can make South Africa the great country it really is by “giving without a thought of getting”, by “forgetting self and finding time for others”.
This is the time when we look around us and notice how precious our family, our children and our friends are to us. And it is also the time in which we realise that we are all South Africans who share this precious country.
Baie dankie aan Krugersdorp se inwoners wat velerlei probleme, onder andere geen water met tye, foutiewe rekeninge, beurtkrag ensovoorts ondervind het, maar tog verstaan en geduldig was. U kan in 2016 u demokratiese reg toepas en ’n verskil by die stembus maak. Gebruik dit asseblief.
