Late one afternoon in December we noticed two full black bags dumped on the tar in front of our house.
Upon inspecting the bags we found it to be full of chicken parts, fat and feathers. This is not the first time this has happened! The stench was horrific since the bags only were removed on Wednesday 9 December after I had phoned numerous people at the municipality and health department.
A big thank you to the woman at the municipality who eventually assisted me.
My problem is this:
We had to make at least 20 calls to get a problem solved that affected us due to some idiot who obviously has no consideration for other people, the law or the health risks it can cause.
Is this person only dumping at our house or is this something that happens to other residents in Krugersdorp as well?
To the person who illegally dumped the chicken remains: be warned we will catch you on camera and we will expose you.
Please stop dumping your rubbish on other people’s doorsteps as you are not the one sitting with the horrible stench and the trouble/ expense to get it removed!
