Abuser has more rights than children

Mother of an alleged abused child from Krugersdorp writes:

I would really like to know when it became in a child’s best interest to force him or her to do something that he or she doesn’t want to do.

My child was abused and the case was reported, but nothing came of it, and now my child has to suffer because he/she has to see the alleged abuser.

My child’s mental well-being just doesn’t seem to count in this matter. Even after seeing people who are supposed to care about my child’s well-being, it still does not matter.

It seems that my child’s abuser has more rights than my child.

It makes no sense!

My child is becoming aggressive, is not sleeping well, has restless nights and nightmares.

It’s really tough knowing that children, who are supposed to be protected by those who say they protect children, don’t actually seem to have any rights.
