How long will people continue to be killed in prostitution-related crimes in our town before the police and Mogale City do something about it?
In relation to an article by the News recently about a foreign national killed; it’s not clear how the fight ensued but apparently a street woman was involved.
Not so long ago the News ran an exposé about prostitutes not only selling sex but also being accessories to crime by teaming with gangsters to rob their clients.
A lot of residents in Krugersdorp CBD know where these ‘ladies of the night’ reside, but nothing seems to be done by the authorities.
Why not evict them, make it hard for them to operate – eventually they will flee. Their so-called bosses (pimps) stand by the road day and night – doesn’t that constitute lawlessness and loitering?
What a sad scenario we are witnessing just on our doorstep …
