Firstly, what is needed for a strong economy is a stable, truly democratic government, not mob rule which we have at the moment. Secondly, hard work and a pride in your work [are needed too]. Can you imagine how strong our economy would be if all the time spent on violent protests, demonstrations and strikes in the last 20 years had been spent on hard work instead?
Blacks could be controlling and own over 50 per cent of the economy.
As to lack of supporting each other, this is made clear when it comes to salary increases, “I’m sorry my Bro that you will lose your job but I want my 50 per cent increase in salary”.
At the moment there seems to be a segment of the population that is determined to destroy the SA economy completely. Whether this is political, foreign intervention or criminals hoping to make money out of a destroyed economy is unclear.
When an economy collapses it is the poor who suffer and in this case it will be the black population and there certainly will be no BEE. Unless this destruction of the economy is stopped, it won’t matter who owns it – whether it be white, black, Indian or Coloured.
I know I will be classed as a white racist because the truth hurts.
