‘Great job Mogale on wasting just about everything’

Chris van der Merwe from Krugersdorp North writes:

I am really happy to report that spending millions on having call centres in place, maintaining and manning them for 24 hours, seven days a week, 365,25 days per year and by having competent people on standby, provided with cellular phones, municipal vehicles or getting paid car or cellular phone allowances to respond to any call of duty after hours, definitely paid off.

After 18 hours, many phone calls, waste of manpower and resources to visit the site after hours without doing anything, the actual crew arrived at 10.12pm and after isolating the water supply and by replacing the complete valve and meter assembly, the water supply to CC van Dyk Street in Krugersdorp North is now (after wasting about 2 000 litres of water – I could have watered my garden and topped up my pool) successfully repaired.

Thank you for improving the quality of life for all communities and for saving water.
