We are looking for information about three individuals driving a silver Corsa bakkie that entered Emoyeni Complex in Chancliff on 10 August at approximately 11.45am under the pretence of selling compost and insecticide powder for lawns.
One of the individuals spoke to one of the tenants and stated that they had delivered topsoil at unit number 21, which he said was occupied by the Schoeman family. We have video surveillance pictures of the vehicle loaded with compost that was packaged in big white plastic bags. We can clearly see there was no garden servicing equipment on the vehicle when they entered the complex, but when they exited the complex just after noon you can see the stolen equipment on the back of the vehicle.
The value of the equipment was approximately R12 000.
