According to a notice published on page 6 of the News of 15 September, a mining company, as part of their current operational changes, suspended some of their open cast mining activities … and according to legislation, a Care and Maintenance Plan (CMP) must be compiled.
The proposed CMP will be available for public comment for a period of 30 days (21 September to 20 October).
I am convinced that many Krugersdorp inhabitants, like myself, are fed-up with the environmental pollution which is caused by mine dust.
