Mogale City residents, allow me to join the queue made up of President Cyril Motamela Ramaphosa; the Gauteng Premier, David Malemolla Makhura; Elias Mzikayifane “Mzi” Khumalo, and other ANC-led alliance leaders, to thank our supporters.
On behalf of the South African National Civic Organisation, I would like to convey our gratitude to the people of Mogale City who voted in both the national and provincial ballots.
Let me also use this opportunity to salute our thousands of volunteers who are the foot soldiers of our movement. They worked tirelessly to take our message of hope, renewal and growth to every part of Mogale City.
Well done, Mogale City, for giving us 52 per cent of your votes – the journey was not easy. Thank you! Dankie! Siyabonga!
