The owners of Bean Tree Cafe at Valley View Retail Centre would like to thank their loyal customers for nominating them for an award for service excellence, a nomination they did not even know about.
The owners, sisters Fatima Leitao and Natalia Farinha, said they were contacted by the organisers of The Coffee & Chocolate Expo and informed that they had won a Top 100 award under the Coffee Shop Award for Service Excellence.
The expo took place at the TicketPro Dome at the end of July and gave the public the opportunity to vote for their favourite coffee shop. Loyal customers of Bean Tree made sure they were among the Top 100 of the Restaurant Association of South Africa’s coffee shops, and Fatima and Natalia were blown away when they received the call giving them the great news.
“We were quite surprised, but extremely happy to receive the news! Thank you, Krugersdorp, it’s because of you that we have this award,” Fatima said.
