What’s going on, Krugersdorp? Load-shedding has become a sad fact of life. But really, this municipality has taken it too far. We’ve had load-shedding three times in the last two days. Early Thursday morning 0.30am to 4.30am, Thursday night 9pm to Friday 0.30am, and Friday 9am to 12.30pm. Eskom has not declared above Stage 4! Not only is it hellish difficult to even find a schedule for Krugersdorp, but the municipality seems to be ignoring the stages set by Eskom. And the app is useless because you cannot get an MTN signal that is worth anything as the signal keeps on disappearing and taking hours to come back. One can only assume it is because of the load-shedding and the batteries not recharging properly.
Am I the only one who sees this as ridiculous?
Maybe something to investigate … or at least find a printable, hard copy schedule somewhere that the municipality will stick to. I know they have not paid our electricity bill but this is no way to save money.
