‘It is time to take action’

I have a question for the Mogale City administration and the ruling party in relation to the vacant stands.

I feel that the current administration has failed Mogale residents by not making the public stands available. We have had mayors coming and going, but not even one of them has taken a decision to allow residents to own and develop the land in our townships. With a very huge social housing backlog, it would be very beneficial to let people build for themselves, but our selfish administration and the opposition parties have been very quiet.

It seems that the only way we will get the current administration to approve, is by illegally occupying these pieces of land around our township, because we won’t get them legally. This is the only way in which we hope this matter will get the attention of our government.

It’s time people of Mogale City woke up and do something. It should be done to remind the sleeping ruling party and the other parties why they were voted for.
