My lockdown experience

Titus Shabalala from Krugersdorp writes:

Besides the fact that Covid-19 infections are still on the rise and kill more people daily, I think the public has adapted to the lockdown lifestyle to a certain extent.

Lowering the limitations to Level 4 has made life a bit easier as well. Some schools are able to assist learners with the remote learning method of teaching.I have a Grade 12 daughter at Krugersdorp High School who is able to download her school work through the Wi-fi drive-thru system which the school has introduced to help learners cope with the high cost of data.

The system is very user-friendly, and it takes about 10 minutes to download a week’s school work, and also communicate with the teachers online using their Moodle system.I also find it an alternative way of schooling while observing the Covid-19 regulations.

Nobody knows how long the lockdown is going to be in force, so adapting to the new schooling system makes sense.
