It is with great concern that I write this email. I live in Wentworth Park, a street from the railroad. On the other side of the railroad on Main Reef Road, where Fora and the dumping yard are, is a site where they work with black sand etc. and massive trucks are coming and going all hours of the day and night.
There are also loud noises late at night. This site is very, very busy.
Our houses are covered in black dust. It is no use cleaning, because 10 minutes later the black dust is all over everything, even in my dog’s water bowl.
There is an old age home on the same street, Heading Street, where I live. Surely there should be a concern about the black dust in the air? We are breathing it in. Shouldn’t this issue be investigated as it is a health concern?
I would really appreciate it if someone could look into this matter, as it is my opinion that the dust we breathe in is not healthy.
Hope to hear from you soon.
