I do believe that credit is due and when it is happening it must be blasted to every one to hear.
We are living in a country where there are more groans every day and a little bit of light is rather an exception than the norm.
On August 25 last year, I went to the Mogale City Licensing Department to take out my driver’s licence and my car licence and prepare to stay there for a good 4 to 6 hours.

It was at about 08:00 that I first went to the driver’s licence section as I did not make an online booking. Within less than five minutes in a fairly long queue, I was helped as to what was needed and referred to an office across the road for all the paperwork and photos. I decided to first take out my car licence and within a half hour, I walked out with my car licence.
Then quickly drove to the office mentioned and was served immediately. Within 20 minutes I was out of there and back to the Licence Department. I was prepared to pay them if they were prepared to go and stand in the queue, but that was not possible as fingerprints were required.

On arrival, I was fifth in the queue. I walked out at 09:45 with my temporary licence done and dusted.
I went back to collect my licence before closing down for the Christmas period but it was not yet available. I then forgot completely about the issue and it was during a news broadcast on March 13 this year where people complained that they were waiting for six months to get their driver’s licences
Early on March 14 this year, I went back to see if it was ready and yet again in less than 15 minutes, I walked out with my licence.
The point I am trying to raise is that not all is doom and gloom, some people are still doing a good job and if they cannot deliver it could be completely out of their power but they do their best.
Well done Mogale City Licence Department and thank you!
