OPINION: The Sunday noise is unbearable
A resident writes a letter to the municipality, requesting them to intervene regarding excessive noise during so-called church services.

I would like to remind you that West Village (or what is left of it) is a residential suburb just like any other in Krugersdorp.
People here go to work every day and come home to sleep. The so-called church services come with amplifiers and speakers as big as cars.
They create a massive noise that is not at all appreciated and comes down to hours of torture.
May I suggest that when you grant permission for such a gathering again please exclude the use of all electronic sound equipment.
Please also consider other suburbs such as Noordheuwel, Monument, Azaadville, etc.
