“This initiative is driven for the advancement of school infrastructure and to address other day-to-day needs required by the schools. The objective of the race is to improve the schools’ educational facilities and enhance further prospects for our future leaders,” says Siphelele.
The late Ntsobi affectionately known as Bra Howard was actively involved in school sport during his youth and he represented both Lengau Primary School and Mosupatsela High School.
Siphelele says the race is named after Ntsobi in recognition of his efforts in raising community activities as well as recognising his passion for sports and academic culture in local communities.
