Binder takes the overall win

It was Darryns first win in only his second national race.

Once again the motorcycle classes produced the day’s best racing in Round 6 of the National Super Series at Phakisa Raceway in Welkom on Saturday 3 August.

For the start of the 600cc Supersport class 18 riders lined up. Fifteen-year-old Darryn Binder from Rant-en-Dal was involved in an enthralling four-way battle on his Indy Oil backed Suzuki GSX-Rin both heats to take the overall win.

It was Darryn’s first win in only his second national race; the first of many more for this talented youngster.

Darryn was using his sponsor’s products, which performed well under the extreme racing conditions.
