Join their team for a worthy cause

The team will be raising funds for the Luipaardsvlei Old Age Home.

Local resident and avid cyclists Amy de Bruin and Grietha Botes, Manager of the Luipaardsvlei Home for the Aged, is thrilled to announce that the home will participate in the Momentum 94.7 Cycle Challenge 2013 – let’s cycle for a purpose for the third time.

The cycle challenge takes place on 17 November and is one of the highlights on the cycling calendar.

Amy, who is also the teamleader, says, “We have set ourselves the target of raising R50 000 by inviting riders to join the Luipaardsvlei Home for the Aged team and encouraging them to gain sponsorship by having members of the public pledge support to them.

“The team will be cycling to raise funds for the elderly. We are 32 cyclists who will take part.”
