Local box sensation Ryno Liebenberg once again made Krugersdorp proud after beating Ghanaian Daniel Allottey after a minute and 51 seconds in the first round of his fight at Emperors Palace on 26 November.
Just as the crowd settled in to watch the fight, a well-conditioned Liebenberg brought his opponent down with an uppercut, forcing referee Wally Snowball to stop the fight.
The Lion as he is known by his alias, who holds the WBC International Silver belt at light-heavyweight made the fight seem effortless and once again had fans at his feet when his hands were lifted in victory.
Liebenberg improved his record to 14-0, with 10 shortcut wins.
The tournament was presented by Jeff Ellis of African Ring in conjunction with Golden Gloves Promotions.
