Khosa’s hockey season starts
The Khosa Hockey Club is looking for new players to join them to make this year another success.

This year the hockey season starts officially on the weekend of 5 and 6 April and hockey practice already has started at the Khosa Hockey Club.
Keith Dauncey, the main club chairman says that Khosa is an open club and they invite young and old to join.
Practice for the senior men hockey players is on a Tuesday and Thursday on Krugersdorp High School’s astro turf.
There are four men’s sides, with the first side playing in the Reserve League. The fourth side competes in the men’s sixth league, which is considered a social league.
Robert Duancey who played provincial hockey for Midlands and Southern Gauteng is the coach for the men’s first and second sides.

Keith Dauncey, who played for South Africa (Grand Masters) two years ago and is a graded coach, is coaching the ladies first side.
The second side and the third side are coached by Tyrone Boardman and Debbie du Plessis respectively.
