Local equestrians outclass competitors
Riders kick dust in the eyes of their opponents.
Heritage Equestrian riders performed exceptionally well at the recent South African National Equestrian Schools Association (Sanesa) Gauteng West and Central finals.
Kenny Kgoedi on Heritage Prince Harvey, Bradley Singo on Heritage Zanzibar and Tshepo Shabangu on Heritage Cappucino competed in the Gauteng West teams. Kenny received fourth place in the Ideal Time and will represent Gauteng in the Sanesa Nationals.
Skye O’Leary on her horse Noble Peer won the Ideal Time and also will represent Gauteng in the nationals.
Daisy Gidlow on Pentachord got fourth place in the Ideal Time and the competition, and will go forward to represent Gauteng in the nationals in both classes.
Mia Lombard was 10th out of 40 riders riding for Gauteng Central on Heritage Zanzibar in the 90cm and will go through to finals as well.
