This was an open tournament for all Shotokan organisations.

These students are (in no particular order) Aiden van den Berg, Alyssa van der Merwe, Ben van der Merwe, Byron Powdrell, Cameron Schultz, Charone Moss, Ciara Conroy, Damion Janse van Rensburg, Dane Visser, Dayton Rushmer, Demi Clark, Dominic Joubert, Dylan Grobler, Eric Clark, Johan Peyper, Josslyn Botes, Lelani Viviers, Miguel Belfi, Ross Meano, Tristan Clark, Zander Cilliers and Zane Goate.
This completion was a nice warm-up for the JKA National Championships taking place on 5 and 6 June and the African Cup, which will take place in September at the Standard Bank Arena.
Sensei Leon van Niekerk is sure that some of his students will make the team for this prestigious event. We wish them all the best.
