One of Krugersdorp Boxing Club’s boxers is going to represent the club at the South African Boxing Championships.
Lebogang Moilwa, better known as Mighty Moilwa, has been chosen recently as part of the Elite Gauteng boxing team that will compete at the championships in June.
“We are so proud of Mighty Moilwa. First a gentleman, and then a boxer,” said Donovan Dullishear, Mighty Moilwa’s coach.
The club also boasts more than a handful of boxers who recently graduated and are ready to step into the ring.
These eager boxers now are looking forward to competing in a development tournament against the Randgate Boxing Club on 16 April.
The group consist of a handful of junior and senior boxers who were graduated by Willie Gonsalves from the Randgate Club along with boxers from the Witpoortjie Boxing Club and coach Phillip du Randt.
