The Panthers want you – Join the club!
The Noordheuwel Netball Club was established approximately four weeks ago by Lindie Furstenberg.
The Noordheuwel Netball Club – also known as the Panthers – was established approximately four weeks ago by Lindie Furstenberg at the Noordheuwel Country Club.
Even though training has already commenced, they are still looking for new members. The club currently consists of approximately 100 players ranging between the ages of seven and 54, as well as five coaches.
According to Lindie the club would like to compete in their first league by August.
“We are currently preparing for the annual Fast Five League where we will compete against Randfontein and Witpoortjie. We would then also like to participate in next year’s West Rand League,” she said.
She went on to say that anyone, irrespective of age, is welcome to join the club.
Training sessions are as follows:
• Age 7–12: Wednesdays from 5.30pm to 6.30pm
• Age 13–16: Mondays and Wednesdays from 5.30pm to 6.30pm
• Age 17–21: Mondays and Wednesdays from 6.30pm to 7.30pm
• Age 21 and older: Mondays and Wednesdays from 6.30pm to 7.30pm
