Tanned, toned and oiled bodybuilders take to the stage
This Gauteng Provincial competition welcomed a large number of athletes from across the province.
On a stage in Kempton Park, tanned, toned and oiled fitness gods flexed their sinuous musculature to compete for the title of an International Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (IBFF) Fire and Ice competition division winner.
This Gauteng Provincial competition, which was held on Saturday, 8 September, welcomed a large number of athletes from across the province, including two local athletes, Hein Naudé and Zane Mosetter.
Both these athletes, who have only recently started training at Supreme Being Fitness Studio, competed in the Mr Fitness Board Shorts division within the Fitness Physique category.
Even though it was Hein’s first-ever bodybuilding competition, he came first in the Mr Fitness Board Shorts division.
He is also proud of Zane who finished fourth in the same division. This follows after he came second in the Mr Fitness Board Shorts division and third in the Mr Fitness Model division at the Welkom Classic, as well as second in the Mr Fitness Boardshort division at the North West Classic earlier this year.
This duo’s next big goal is to compete in the IBFF World Championships, get their pro cards and maybe even open a gym of their own.
