Coaching everywhere, from indoor to outdoor

The Love Netball team will be holding a year-end netball tournament in November, and also runs a junior league at Hillfox Action Sports.

The ladies at Nett Girlies and Love Netball have been running coaching clinics for a number of years, and will be hosting a year-end tournament soon.

While Nett Girlies is the outdoor arm, and Love Netball the indoor arm, they both fall under one umbrella, which is headed by veteran netball coach, Celia Prinsloo. Celia has been coaching netball for the past 23 years, of which 18 have been independent and at the head of her own netball coaching business.

Celia is quite possibly one of the busiest ladies you can meet, as she runs Nett Girlies coaching clinics at more than 11 schools, spread as far apart as Curro Aurora and Bryanston Parallel Medium. In 2018, ±400 girls enrolled with Celia’s academy, from as young as U/5 right up to U/18.

When she’s not busy bossing the outdoor court, she’s also running an action netball academy at the Hillfox Action Sports Arena. This is where Love Netball comes in, and also sees the parents putting their hand into the ring. Love Netball also runs a league for its girls and parents on Friday nights at Hillfox, and sees hundreds of girls and parents take to the courts for action netball.

The ladies who run the netball academies will also be holding a year-end tournament at Maragon Ruimsig in November. The tournament is open to anybody and everybody, with entries available for moms’ teams, teachers’ teams, mixed teams, and even mom and daughter teams. The tournament will be played on 3 November, and will begin at 7.30am.

If you would at all like to join the action netball league, or take part in year-end tournament, you can contact either Kristin Stewart on 079 500 4372, or Celia Prinsloo on 082 385 9937.
