New rugby jerseys gives cubs more confidence.
The Western Cub's new jerseys are a clear winner in the rugby club community and stand out clear above their competitors.
The Western Cubs rugby club is gearing up for its first few games in the coming weeks.
With this in mind, final amendments are being made to their brand new game jerseys. One of these is the addition of their sponsors name on the jerseys, as well as the addition of the GLRU logo, showing that they are now part of the Golden Lions club league.
On Friday, 7 June, they happily handed over a display jersey to their long-time sponsor, Big Five Meat Market, a company that has been helping out the team for five years. The butchery even supplies the team with boerewors and buns during some of their games.
The Western Cubs went on to play in the Thys Bezuidenhout Bondedag at Hoƫrskool Monument, where they were among about 600 provincial players from all across South Africa.
These brand new jerseys are quite the eye-catcher, and very easily stand out clear above the competition on the field. With a bit of black, touches of blue and a whole lot of bright pink printed in a great tribal design, these little U/12 and U/13s look like they’re getting ready to take on South Africa’s big national teams.
