Curro sports fields debuting with rugby tournament

To properly test out their news sports facilities, Curro Krugersdop High School hosted four schools for a rugby tournament.

Whenever a school adds new facilities to its grounds, it’s always big news for the learners who often can’t wait to start using it.

Curro Krugersdorp recently unveiled its new sports field to the rear of the high school, hosting its first rugby tournament in May just before the Department of Basic Education announced that contact sports in schools would be suspended for the foreseeable future.

Amoryn Wright, Curro Krugersdorp Marketing representative said, “Our school made us proud, with our U/14 boys winning all their games. The U/15s lost one game but won another two. Our U/16 players walked away undefeated. Our first side beat Crawford and, in two separate matches, drew with and defeated Curro Aurora.”
