Khosa welcomes rugby again during province-wide tourney at KHS

The Khosa Rugby Club invited several clubs from around Gauteng to a rugby tournament to get things back to normal.

Khosa Rugby Club welcomed back players and opposition by hosting one of their legendary province-wide tournament days at the Krugersdorp High School sports fields on Saturday, October 16.

The day saw junior and senior teams from the likes of the Khosa, Harlequins, Pirates, Diggers, Union, Inner City, and Alexandra Rugby Clubs competing across four rugby fields from 07:00 to 16:00.

Khosa’s U/20s beat Pirates 28–0, Khosa 3 snatched a 24–15 victory also over Pirates, while Khosa 1 hammered Inner City 87–0.

The Harlequins Rugby Club, also from Krugersdorp, managed to take home their first win against Pirates in years, with their U/18s cruising to a 47–15 win. Their U/15s walked away 20–17 winners as well, while Harlequins U/16s triumphed 27–3 over Alexandra Wolves.
