Hein proves his worth at extreme 4X4 event

Local extreme 4X4 driver Hein Duraan finished second in the Hankook 4X4 event held in Ermelo during the weekend of October 22.

Many other extreme 4X4 drivers from across Gauteng and Mpumalanga competed in the adrenaline-pumping event.

The day started with a time trial over rough terrain and large boulders ending with technical obstacles which tested his vehicle as well as the driver and co-driver’s skills.

A relative ‘easy’ track will test his skills to the extreme at the next event hosted by Rebel 4X4 and Hankook in Muldersdrift on Saturday, November 5.
