According to the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team, Brad was the highest-classified racer after 25 laps with his KTM RC16.
The team added Brad was the most competitive racer from the quarter and burst into the top six in the opening laps from 11th on the grid in a typically feisty fashion.
“He couldn’t go with the pace of the top five and had to conserve his tyres and grip in the last third of the race. Seventh was an improvement over the points taken in Thailand,” they said.

“I’m happy because I gave absolutely everything I had from the first lap. I’m also happy to get some points after what happened the day before race day. I had a decent enough start and tried to go with the guys. I knew it would be tricky once we had our tyre drop but I did my best and tried to make zero mistakes.
Unfortunately, seventh was a good as it was going to be on the day.
“We are strong in braking and entry but we need to find more grip on the edge of the rear tyre. Once we do that, then life will get much easier for us,” Brad concluded.
Brad is currently 8th in the World Championship standings and will race again from March 28 to 30 at the Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas.
