Airsoft warriors head abroad

Phantom SOG A will face top international teams in Abu Dhabi this March, testing their speed, precision, and teamwork.

A tactical airsoft team from Noordheuwel, Phantom SOG A, will compete in Abu Dhabi from March 25 to 29, facing off against international teams in a high-intensity competitive environment.

According to founder and team leader Ray van Achterbergh, airsoft is a military simulation game using high-powered airsoft guns that shoot 6mm plastic BBs.

He added that there are various modes in airsoft, ranging from casual social games to competitive matches.

“Our team focuses on the tactical 5v5 competitive scene. In this mode, two teams of five complete objectives with speed and precision to score points. The team with the highest points wins,” Ray explained.

Phantom SOG A was invited to compete at the World Airsoft Games this year in Abu Dhabi. Ray confirmed that five team members will participate, with two additional reserves.
