11th-place finish for Brad Binder in Indonesia
Krugersdorp MotoGP racer Brad Binder reflected on a tough and hot race at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit as he prepares for his favourite track at Phillip Island.
Brad Binder secured an 11th-place finish for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing at the Indonesian Grand Prix at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit yesterday, October 11.
The race marked the 17th MotoGP round of the season, taking place from October 9 to 11. Binder narrowly missed out on a top-10 spot, finishing less than a second behind 10th position.
“He made decent progress to gain ground and hover on the fringe of the top ten,” the team said.

Binder described the outing as a long and hot race.
“I gave everything I had and we’ve been heavy on the edge of the tire all weekend, so from eight laps in it was tricky until the end. Anyway, I enjoyed riding and I enjoyed the track,” Binder said.
Binder believes he made progress and improved from Saturday’s Sprint.
“The bike wasn’t bad at all, I was just missing some speed. The guys did a great job and I had more feeling with the front,” Binder said. “We’ll prepare for the next one in Australia; Phillip Island is my favorite track so I’m looking forward to see how we manage.”
Binder is 13th in the championship standings and will return to the track from October 23 to 25 for the Australian Grand Prix.
