KHS dominates last fixture of the Best of the West Easter Festival
KHS's second rugby team closes off the festival strong, beating Hoërskool Bastion.
Krugersdorp High School’s second rugby team showed dominance and confidence to close of the Best of West Easter Festival against Hoërskool Bastion.
The game was an entertaining affair as supporters from both teams showed high spirits and support for what was a tough fixture. Only a single try was scored as both teams displayed a disciplined and defensive masterclass with quick interceptions and incredible tackles. However, only one team was victorious as the hosts won the game 10–0 despite the intensity and resilience of Bastion.
The festival was closed off by KHS headmaster Ivan Bailey, thanking the learners, parents and coaches for producing what would be the most memorable Easter festival yet and concluded that they are looking forward to the 2026 Easter festival.
