Great entertainment line-up at casino

Silverstar has a great entertainment line-up to ensure the perfect night out.

Silverstar has a not-to-be missed entertainment line-up for 2014.

Doctor Riaad Moosa is lovingly known as “South Africa’s comedy doctor” and he certainly seems to have the remedy for the nation’s ills at the moment: a healthy dose of laughter, straight up – hold the aspirin.

Riaad’s Cape Town home-grown charm, charismatic style and general observational opinion-based humour have had audiences enthralled since his debut. Skirting around the relatively taboo topics with charm and ease, this comedy doctor will split your sides and keep you in stitches at the same time.

His show Doctor’s Orders features new material, so be sure not to miss this doctor prescribing his dose of laughter at Silverstar on 31 January.

The show starts at 8pm with doors opening at 7pm, tickets cost R150 per person and are available from Silverstar’s website, www.silverstarcasino.co.za.

Silverstar is celebrating its sixth birthday during March and has a great entertainment line-up to ensure the perfect night out.

Join South African comedian Joey Rasdien for his stand-up comedy show called Evolved that touches on the subject of evolution and how natural selection has blessed many of the figures that loom over South African life.

Joey is also a talented actor with much acclaimed roles in Bunny Chow, Dollars and White Pipes, and Material. His latest offering was Biltz Patrolie with David Kau and Kagiso Lesiga among others. Joey is also a regular in popular line-up shows such as Mass Hysteria and Kings and Queens of Comedy.
