SA’s Got Talent pre-auditions open

The pre-auditions is the first step in the contestants quest for stardom.

The country’s most watched talent search show, SA’s Got Talent, will be back on screens for a seventh season.

Expect more thrills, laughs, gasps and crazy antics as the very best (and not so great) talent show off their skills. Any act, any age is the criteria for anyone who is keen to show the country what they have.

The last season saw a three-year-old DJ (DJ Arch Jnr) take the title of SA’s most talented. SA’s Got Talent has been responsible for unearthing some of the country’s greatest talents such as Bothlale Boikanyo, Johnny Apple, Tholwana Mohale and DJ Arch Jnr.

All these winning contestants have gone on to do great things in the entertainment industry. Now it’s your chance to show Mzansi your incredible talent and join the ranks of previous year’s winners.

Pre-auditions will take place in Johannesburg. Contestants that live outside Gauteng can enter via an online video submission showing off their talent for the judges. Online pre-audition submissions can be submitted at https://rapidblue.formstack.com/forms/sagt.

The Johannesburg audition venue is at the e.tv Offices in Albury Road, Dunkeld West, Johannesburg and takes place on Saturday 7 May and Sunday 8 May. Gate opens at 7am until 1pm.

The pre-auditions is the first step in the contestants quest for stardom. From there, if successful, candidates will be taken through to the theater auditions where they will perform their act in front of the judges.

SA’s Got Talent will premiere on Sunday, 4 September at 6:05pm on e.tv and eHD on Openview HD (Channel 104) and DStv (Channel 194).
