Bridal Expo

25 and 26 JANUARY — Get ready for two days of all things wedding at the Bridal Expo at Oakfield Farm from 9.30am. There will be more than 180 wedding vendors, a free fashion show, great food, live entertainment and great prize giveaways. Costs per person is R100 and tickets are available at Computicket.

Boeredans

25 JANUARIE — Die Wes-Randtak van die TBK bied sy eerste byeenkoms aan met ‘n lekker dans in die Witpoortjie Ontspanningsentrum op die hoek van Suid- en Vermootenweg, Princess, Roodepoort. Die orkeste van Ferdie van Zyl, Robbie Holm, Frik Smit en Roelf Faber gaan optree. Verrigtinge begin om 5nm en die deure open om 4.30nm. Toegang vir volwassenes is R60 en kinders het gratis toegang. Hike the Koppies

Kloofendal Ecological Centre

26 JANUARY — Two great educational talks will be presented at the Kloofendal Ecological Centre from 9am. The first, a Venomous Animals – First Responder Course with Jonathan Leeming will be until 1pm, and there will be a Wild Flower Walk with Karin Spottiswoode until 11am. The Rocky Horror Show

UNTIL 1 MARCH — You have to experience the legendary musical extravaganza that is Richard O’Brien’s Rocky Horror Show at Montecasino’s Teatro! The Show is a guaranteed party, which famously combines science fiction, horror, comedy and music while encouraging audience participation.
