Disappointment for Moto2’s Darryn in Spain

Despite placing 19th in Spain, Darryn Binder is still motivated and remains hopeful for his next race.

Local MotoGP2 racer Darryn Binder had a struggle at the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Grand Prix of Spain, where he placed 19th out of 22 racers.

Darryn confirmed on Gresini Racing’s official website that it was a tough weekend (April 25–27) for him on the Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto race track in Spain.

I thought we found the way in the qualifying, but unfortunately, I struggled in the race.

“I managed to finish the race anyway, to take the bike home and collect information for the next one. Now I’ll reset for Le Mans, we’ll try again!” he concluded.

Darryn will race again Michelin Grand Prix de France from May 9–11, and is currently 17th in the World Championship Standings for MotoGP2.
