Krugersdorp MotoGP star Brad Binder delivered a strong performance at the Dutch MotoGP in Assen but narrowly missed out on a Top 10 finish, crossing the line in 11th place.

According to the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team, Brad moved up seven places after he started in 16th on the grid and hustled for points in the top 10, but ultimately finished 11th.

Brad said he did not have much pace this entire past weekend.

“I could do the same time every lap, but it was too slow. I missed the speed here,” he explained.

It’s been tough, and the only positive is that I finished both races … but that doesn’t mean much to me! We need to go home and analyse where I was losing time. In general, it is nothing too serious, we just need a bit more speed,” he said.

A week before, Brad placed ninth at the MotoGP’s Brembo Grand Prix of Italy.

Brad is currently 13th in the World Championship Standings, and will race again at the Liqui Moly Grand Prix of Germany on July 11 to 13.
