Come and claim your livestock
Members of the police Stock Theft Unit in Maake are looking for the owner of stray cattle impounded at Joppie village in Nwamitwa area on November 28 last year.

According to the Maake police spokesperson, Constable Rufus Magoro, the five animals were found wandering around the village, unsupervised when they were impounded and police are appealing to the owner to come forward and claim them.
The animals are being kept by the stock theft unit. “The livestock owner must provide proof of ownership before collecting the impounded animals,” said Magoro.
He warned that if the owner does not come forward and claim them, the animals would be forfeited to the state.
He said the owner must also describe the markings and branding on the impounded livestock.
He urged livestock owners to make an effort to contain their animals and not let them roam free.
Police are appealing to anyone who has information about these animals to contact Maake Stock Theft Unit, Sergeant Kulani Sydney Mahlawule on 076 021 5075.
