Car crashes through front of house

An employee of Wasingtonia nursery, on the outskirts of Tzaneen, received an unpleasant surprise when a man lost control of his vehicle and crashed through the front of his house in Motupa.

Nico Maake woke up around 02:00 on Monday morning from the noise of the crash.

Fortunately nobody was hurt in the accident. According to Maake, a local woman went into labour and her family rushed her to the local clinic.

At the clinic she was told to go to the hospital. On the way to the hospital, the vehicle transporting her was involved in an accident.

Isaac Malatji was called in to help and he drove her to the hospital.

On the way back home, he lost control of his vehicle and crashed through the front of Maake’s house.

Witnesses on the scene claim that Malatji’s vehicle was totally unroadworthy with not even the lights working properly.

According to Maake, he is waiting 24 hours to see if the driver can come up with the money to repair the damaged house, before opening a case at the police.
