Manhunt still on for house robbery and rape suspects

A manhunt is still on for two suspects who attacked and raped a domestic worker at a farm outside Tzaneen recently.

Police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe said two suspect entered the farm along Agatha road at about 09:00 on Wednesday, October 19 and attacked the domestic worker who was alone working in the house.

“They threatened her with a fire arm and a knife before one of them took her to one of the bedrooms and raped her while the other one was busy loading valuable items, such as clothing, shoes, jewelleries, cosmetics and electronic appliances in to a suitcase. They tied her hands and legs before disappearing in the bushes,” said Ngoepe.

One of the suspects, who are both believed to be in their twenties speaks the Shona language while his accomplice speaks Tsonga.
