Phosa calls for removal of Zuma

MATTHEWS Phosa, former Treasurer General of the ANC, called for the removal of President Jacob Zuma when he addressed the Phalaborwa Chamber of Commerce during its annual awards function at the Cajori Hotel last night.

“The whole country waits with baited breath to hear whether he, and the ANC, will do the right thing and relieve us of this crippling nightmare,” Phosa said referring to The Constitutional Court’s ruling that the President must pay back all the money spent at his Nkandla home that is not security related.

“Our Democracy is safe! With the ruling handed down in the Constitutional Court today, one of the most important tests of the Democratic principles contained in our Constitution has been tested and passed. We can sleep with ease tonight in the knowledge that nobody and no actions are above the law,” Phosa told the more than 100 guests who attended the function.

During the function well known Phalaborwa entrepreneur and owner of the Cajori Hotel, Hans Harri, was crowned Business Person of the Year while farming prodigy, Piet Warren, was crowned Newsmaker of the Year for his massive achievements in the game farming industry.
