Stanford Lake College opens State of the Art High Performance Centre

Stanford Lake College hosted the opening of their new state-of-the-art High Performance Centre (HPC) on Saturday.

The event welcomed around 200 guests, eager to have a look around this much awaited facility.

Lebogang Montjane, the Executive Director of Independent Schools Association of South Africa (ISASA), who was the guest of honour for the afternoon, and the Headmaster, Mr Craig Carolan, officially opened the HPC with a small ceremony.

The HPC is a multipurpose sports facility built to provide the pupils and the community with access to top class sports training facilities.

While the full potential of the HPC will only be realised in the years to come, the Senior Management Team has identified three specific activities on which they will be focusing for the first few months; namely squash, swimming and the gym.
