BREAKING NEWS: Four arrested with white lion remains on R71

Namakgale Rhino project members arrested three alleged poachers for the possession of white lion remains.

According to information received, Rhino project members were on patrol this morning (05:30) along the R71 road about 12 km outside Namakgale, close to Phalaborwa.

According to a police statement, the members stopped a white Toyota bakkie with a Limpopo registration number.

Upon searching the bakkie, they discovered a rubbish bag containing four white lion claws, head and a tail.

The three suspects, aged between 34 and 41 are expected to appear before the Namakgale magistrate court today.
