The GES Medical team in  Hoedspruit responded to an emergency call after a man was attacked by a buffalo.

The patient was stabilized at the Hoedspruit Clinic.

According to GES, the man sustained multiple injuries to his chest and abdomen.

‘The nature of his injuries necessitated the backup of a medical flight team. The patient was airlifted from the Hippo Pools air strip. He is in a stable but critical condition at a hospital in Polokwane,’ GES said.
