The truck was found alight when Paramedics arrived on the scene.

“Sadly, there was nothing that could be done for a young child that was found near the truck,” said ER24.

The child sustained fatal burn injuries.

A woman as well as both male drivers and at least one other man were assessed and found to have sustained minor to moderate injuries.

ER24 treated and transported the patients to local hospitals for further medical care.

Fire and Rescue units extinguished the fire.

The cause of the incident is unknown.

Investigations continue.
