TZANEEN: Two men brutally murdered

"The community took the two suspects who were in the ambulance and assaulted them both to death."

Two men off Matipane village were brutally murdered by a mob in Mabulane village, just outside Tzaneen on Sunday.

“It is alleged that on Sunday morning, three men robbed a Somalian man at gunpoint in the Mokwakwaila policing area, and stole cash valued at R 6 000, and four cellphones to the amount of R5 000” said the Bolobedu Police spokesperson, Constable Millicent Mohale.

The community in block 06 responded to the robbery and attacked the suspect’s, one suspect managed to run away and two were beaten.

“An ambulance was called to take the injured suspects to the nearest medical facility, but the Matshwi and Mabulana communities mobilised and stopped the ambulance”, she further stated.
