Four armed suspects assaulted yet another elderly couple last night, January 20 at around 20:30 in Haenertsburg.
According to Marius Jacobs from Northern Security, the suspects entered the house, assaulted the elderly couple and tied them up.
“The suspects ransacked the house and fled with valuables and two firearms. When one of the victims got loose and attempted to call for help the suspects shot at them,’ Jacobs said.
The victims managed to call for help around 05: 00 this morning.
Haenertsburg Community Watch Members, Northern Security and the police are on the scene.
